42nd Street Hotel
This project consisted of two hoisting complexes. The north hoist complex included a common platform approximately 16' wide x 32' long, with three personnel/material hoists, servicing the 60th Floor. The west complex consisted of a common platform, up to 35' from the building, with one dual personnel/material hoist, servicing the 25th Floor.
UBS utilized its "Cocoon System" on the majority of the building perimeter, providing unprecedented safety, a critical component of the project given the building's location on 42nd Street, one of the busiest areas in Manhattan.
